Your tongue, a force to be reckoned with.

"My diabetes."

"His leukemia."

"I'm broke."

"I'm too old."

"I'm a failure."

"I can't ... I won't... I never..." Blah, blah, blah.

Have we not heard that death and life are in the power of the tongue?

Are we so oblivious to the fact we are snared by the words of our mouths?

Do we REALLY believe the blessings of God are overtaking us and that we have the favor from the Lord?

Well, we DO!

Have you ever wondered why the Scripture instructs us to be "slow to speak, quick to listen and slow to anger?"

Slow to speak? Yes, take a deep breath. Stop and think about what and how you're about to say anything to everyone. Let no course communication come out of your mouth! At the risk of setting a trap for yourself with a wagging tongue and loose lips, DON'T! It's a learned behavior, that's for sure, but you can do this.... and it DOES matter!

A wagging tongue? It's more like a LYING tongue! Yes, we lie every time we vocalize ANYTHING that doesn't line-up with what the Father - who embodies Truth itself - has to say about us. Folks, Scripture reveals there are two voices at the throne of the Lord, that of Satan, accusing us and emphasizing our shortcomings, and Jesus, making intercession on our behalf.

Who is YOUR tongue in agreement with?

Yes, your tongue is, indeed, a force to be reckoned with. If the same Spirt who raised Jesus from the dead dwells within you, your tongue is the powerful weapon that can be used to declare healing, blessings, peace, unity, words of wisdom, words of knowledge and powerful intercession... all kinds of incredible stuff that can literally change people's lives, including our own.

Or not.

It's totally up to you and whether or not you are available to be used in that way. Every one of us is a decision away from being used in this way.

So, what do you say?

Every blessing,
