Declaration of DEPENDENCE!

Father, we realize we can't do anything without you. We certainly, obviously, can't do much that is right and very little with a far-reaching impact for good. We need your intervention., Lord. We need your help. We need your grace, the power to do as we've been called to do. 

As individuals and as nations, with all our so-called wisdom and expertise, it's obvious our experience has been little more than repeated mistakes. 

So, as fallible people floundering about, trying to make things happen and failing miserably over and over, we surrender. 

We submit ourselves to you, Lord. We declare right here, right now, we can't do this! We are 100% dependent upon YOU! 

As individuals, as a nation, even on behalf of those who still ignorantly believe we can turn things around on our own, 

we invite your powerful presence 

to be poured out upon every living thing. 

Be glorified, Father, by and through all your creation on this planet. We cannot do this without you. 

You alone are our salvation. You alone are our Rock! 

Lord, hear our prayer! 

Jesus said (John 5:19) "...the Son can do nothing by Himself. He can do only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does." Father, that describes us, too! Change us from the inside, starting with ME! Then, since the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives within us (Romans 8:11), work through us, Lord, to affect changes within our personal realms of influence - changes that will advance your Kingdom, changes motivated by unconditional love and compassion. Let us be like Jesus, doing only that which YOU would lead us to do.

We need a miracle, Lord, and you are a GOD of miracles! Please, resurrect the deadness of this land. 

Resurrect The Church! 

Resurrect Love and compassion within all creation. 

Release your Sons, Father! 

Deploy the mighty Army of God that has been 

on bivouac much too long! 

You, the Captain of the Host... 

YOU are the Mighty One on whom we depend! 

Thank you, Father, for hearing our cry as we declare our DEPENDENCE on this July 4th, 2012.
